Save big and do good.

On October 23rd, at Reston Town Center, Davelle Clothiers’ 30th Annual Trade-In Sale begins. Clean out your closet, donate to those in need, and save on new pieces for Fall, all in one enjoyable visit.
Every year we partner with Goodwill Greater Washington to support the wonderful work they do with clothing and monetary donations. We invite you to be part of this important mission while tending to a very important aspect of your life, your wardrobe.
At Davelle we provide more than just an expertly curated selection of quality clothing, that’s only half of the equation. The other half is our dedication to personalized service.
We don’t sell to you, we guide you through the process of choosing clothing that suits your body, your personality, and your lifestyle. We show you how to mix and match, and how to incorporate pieces you already own.
You have a financial advisor, a realtor, a golf pro, and a slew of other trained individuals to support you, so it only makes sense that you should also have a professional clothier. Someone who understands the art of men’s clothing, and builds a relationship with you, so that as your life evolves, so does your style. Schedule an appointment today to see how easy the process of building your wardrobe can be.

30 Years of Partnership: Davelle Clothiers & Goodwill
What does Goodwill do for the Greater Washington community?

Goodwill of Greater Washington does far more than collect donated clothing. This extraordinary
organization helps people in our own community build better lives through education, job training, and employment opportunities.
Goodwill provides f ree career training, job placement assistance, and supportive services for individuals with disabilities and others who face barriers to employment. They also operate the Goodwill Excel Center, a tuition free adult charter high school that gives adults a second chance to earn their high school diplomas and pursue new career opportunities.
An impressive 94 cents of every dollar Goodwill earns goes directly back into its education and employment services.
When you donate clothing during our Trade-In Sale, you’re helping fund these life-changing programs while giving quality garments a second life. It’s a wonderful way to make a meaningful difference right here in our community.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Trade-In Sale
Have questions about our Trade-In Sale? We’ve put together answers to the most common questions about how the discounts work, what clothing to bring, and how your donations benefit Goodwill of Greater Washington. Everything you need to know before your visit!
Bring in clothing you no longer wear, and we’ll reward you with trade-in credits toward new additions to your wardrobe. The amount you save depends on the items you donate and the price of the new merchandise you purchase. Consult our Trade-In Credit Chart for specific discounts and minimum purchase requirements.
Almost everything! Trade-in discounts are valid on regularly priced, in-store merchandise and custom clothing.
Exclusions: Trade-in discounts cannot be applied to special orders, 7 Downie St., or Robert Graham merchandise. Discounts cannot be combined with other offers and have no cash value.
Absolutely! Our Trade-In Sale works on an item-for-item basis. If you bring in two sweaters, you can receive a trade-in discount on each of two qualifying new purchases. For example, if the trade-in credit is $50 per sweater, you could save $100 on two new sweaters, provided each meets the minimum purchase price of $250.
The prices listed on the chart represent the minimum regular price of the new merchandise you’re purchasing to qualify for that particular discount.
For example, if the chart specifies a $250 minimum purchase for a $50 trade-in credit, your new item must be priced at $250 or more before the discount is applied.
We ask that all donated clothing be clean, gently worn, and in good wearable condition. Think about whether someone else would be happy to wear it. If the answer is yes, it’s probably a great candidate for donation.
Please make sure your clothing is freshly laundered, completely dry, and free of stains or damage. Check pockets for personal belongings, and neatly fold and pack your items in a bag or box before bringing them to Davelle.
Unfortunately, no. The purpose of our Trade-In Sale is to give quality clothing a second life. Goodwill of Greater Washington does not have the infrastructure to repair damaged garments as part of this event, so we ask that you donate only items that are ready to be worn and enjoyed by someone else.
Every donation makes a difference! Goodwill receives all the clothing collected during our event, plus 5% of the sales made during the Trade-In Sale.
These contributions help support Goodwill’s employment, education, and job training programs throughout the Greater Washington community.
Sartoriale by David is our own exclusive label of suits, designed by Davelle’s founder and master designer, David Eisele Sr. Drawing on decades of experience in fine men’s clothing, David created this collection to reflect his commitment to exceptional quality, sophisticated styling, and outstanding value.
