History

Davelle Exterior PicDavelle Clothiers began as Timeless Ties and More in 1991 at a kiosk at Union Station in Washington, DC. Sparked by customer enthusiasm and word of mouth, the business expanded to 6 locations, including one in Reston Town Center. 1995 saw the premiere of Davelle by David, a complete line of fine menswear inspired by the classic style of 30s and 40s Hollywood movie stars like Clark Gable and Fred Astaire, with a modern twist.

In 2001, Timeless Ties and More became Davelle Clothiers, with the Reston Town Center location serving as showroom and design studio. Now much more than a tie store, Davelle Clothiers encompassed a vast array of men’s clothing by famous name designers. The store had a European essence with an American sensibility.
